Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of keyflex.lol (the "Service"), including the public leaderboard, key and profile pages, checkout, and related features. By using the Service, placing a bid, or completing a payment, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service and do not pay for a placement.

Operator and contact

What the Service is

keyflex.lol is an entertainment leaderboard and paid ranking. Brands place real-money bids to mount a logo and link on a virtual keyboard key or shortcut. Bids are cumulative: each payment adds to a key's total and affects its rank. Placements are paid advertisements, not editorial reviews, certifications, or endorsements.

Not a donation or investment. A bid buys a promotional placement on this platform only, at the rank that amount can take at the time it is fulfilled. It does not buy traffic, clicks, customers, a fixed duration at a rank, or any particular result, and it confers no ownership of any physical key, keyboard, brand, or other product, and no financial return. Someone else can pay more and outbid you. We may change, pause, or discontinue features and ranking formulas.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service for a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and "you" includes that company. You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from receiving services under any applicable law, including trade sanctions.

Payments and taxes

Checkout is processed by Stripe. We never see or store full payment-card numbers. Amounts are shown before you pay; applicable taxes may be added at checkout. Completing checkout is an offer to buy a placement on those terms. Rank is assigned when payment is confirmed and the bid is written to the board, at whatever position that amount then supports.

Content rules

You may only submit a brand, logo, or link you own or are authorized to represent. You may not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, impersonating, or adult, or links that hide their real destination. We may refuse, hide, edit, or permanently remove any placement that violates these rules or the law, with or without notice and without refund.

No accounts

Registration is not required. An anonymous identifier and edit token are stored in your browser so you can edit a profile you created. Losing that storage means losing the ability to edit your placement.

No refunds

All payments are final and not refundable, except where a mandatory consumer right requires otherwise, as described in our Refund Policy. A placement is a digital service that begins as soon as payment is confirmed; being outbid later, fewer clicks than you hoped for, downtime, or a later removal for breach does not create a refund. A chargeback or payment dispute without a legally required basis is a breach of these Terms; we may remove the placement and refuse future use of the Service.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and may be unavailable, slow, or incorrect. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We do not limit liability that the law says we cannot limit, including for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for a claim relating to a payment is limited to the amount you paid us for the placement that the claim concerns.

Changes

We may change these Terms. If a change is material, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms. For a payment already completed, the Terms in effect at checkout still apply, except where a change is required by law or to address a security or legal risk.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer with a mandatory local law that cannot be displaced, that law still protects you. If you are not a consumer, the courts at our place of residence in Germany have exclusive jurisdiction, to the extent permitted. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
